EVENT DETAILS
The exhibition invites the viewer to approach less visible dimensions of Japan, where, beyond being an exotic land, a country will be discovered in which deep artistic reflections prevail, while interacting with the global contemporary art scene.
The exhibition presents the work of four photographers and two video artists, who reflect in different ways on the identity of Japan as a set of sites charged by the conception of interrupted time. Recording the brevity of worldly existence, these works demonstrate the sensitivity of Japanese artists to the world and its reflection, and how its experimentation is nourished by the concept of the ephemeral.
